With your support, Nixiwaka successfully completed 12 months of educational work with Survival International. He travelled the UK speaking at schools, colleges, universities, societies, conferences & festivals. He also reached schools around the world through Skype.

Nixiwaka’s passion for his Amazon homeland and ability to engage and inspire, meant that his audience gained firsthand insight into his tribal way of life and learnt about the forces which threaten to destroy tribal peoples. In total Nixiwaka gave more than 100 talks, reaching tens of thousands of students.
