'We are very happy!'
As the full meaning of their historic court win starts to sink in, the Bushmen have sent a message to Survival supporters around the world, whose generosity has been so crucial in bringing about their victory:
Bushmen inside the Central Kalahari Game Reserve erupt with joy on learning of their historic victory.
'We are all laughing and dancing. We are so happy that finally we can be set free to go back to our beloved land, the land of our ancestors.
'We want to thank all of you who have helped us, from the bottom of our hearts.
'Without your help, we could never have won this victory, and we would have been left to rot in the resettlement camps for ever. No-one would have known of our suffering.
'Although we have never met you, to us you are our true friends.
