The Nukak have to return NOW to their territory.

More than 30 years ago, missionaries, armed groups, and other settlers began invading the Nukak territory. Since then more than half of the Nukak people have died from disease and violence as a result of this forced contact.

But the Nukak remain determined to get the Colombian government to help them return to their territory safely and to prosper again as a self-sufficient people.
