Indigenous leader Vicente Vilhalva was shot dead last Sunday – this is his relaties' message to the world at his funeral.

The Guarani Kaiowá are being attacked for trying to recover their ancestral lands from the hands of agribusiness barons, who will do anything to keep them out. But Vicente’s people aren’t intimidated, and won’t give up their fight.

“We are standing strong here because we want our land demarcated.”
